MarMaRa Symposium 2026
Innovative Interdisciplinary Approaches to Rare Diseases - from molecular models to the organism
On April 28 and 29, 2026, the Institut MarMaRa organized its annual scientific symposium at the Hexagone on the Luminy campus in Marseille, bringing together over 130 participants around the theme: " Innovative Interdisciplinary Approaches in Rare Diseases - from molecular models to the organism. "
Interdisciplinary convergence
The symposium brought together numerous researchers, engineers, students and research staff to explore interdisciplinary biotechnological approaches from the molecular, cellular and tissue levels right through to the whole organism. This year, the MarMaRa institute wanted to bring together its teams and researchers from cross-disciplinary scientific backgrounds (biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering, imaging, 3D modeling, etc.) to highlight innovative projects in the field of rare diseases.

Rich oral and poster presentations by our young researchers!
The symposium also highlighted the AAPs (Actions incitatives et recherche Translationnelle) projects supported by MarMaRa in 2025, as well as oral and poster presentations by the institute's young researchers, illustrating the institute's commitment to promoting its projects.
Several pairs of judges and the participation of the public enabled all these presentations to be evaluated and numerous prizes to be awarded, BRAVO to them!
- Best posters: Loeva Morin (MMG), Célia Rousset (IBDM) and an exceptional prize to Noeline Boyer (Master 2, internship at MMG).
- Best oral presentation: Imane Ben-Daoud (MMG)
