The MarMaRa Institute, through the RARE TRIPS platform (Rare Diseases Training Interdisciplinary Platforms ), is offering a technology training program in genomics via RNA sequencing— the “Bring Your Own Samples” (BYOS) bulk RNA-seq workshop —based on a learning-by-and-for-research approach.

Under the guidance of Anna Maria Alklaiany, an educational engineer, each participant will work in pairs on their own samples and project to acquire skills in genomics and bioinformatics that are directly applicable to their research project.

This intensive workshop covers the entire process, from experimental design (sample preparation, quality control, library preparation, etc.) to data analysis, using advanced sequencing technologies.

Target audience: Master’s students, doctoral candidates, early-career researchers, or interested research staff

Schedule/Application: two sessions per year (spring and fall) via the BYOS Call for Proposals
