Genomics and Bioinformatics (MMG)
The missions of the Genomics and Bioinformatics platform are to provide access to genomic, transcriptomic and epigenomic sequencing as well as to provide analysis services for research teams at the research unit and for external teams and customers. This role of this platform is to support and drive genomic projects by offering scientific and technological support both during the experimental design phase and in the analysis/interpretation phases. The services proposed by the platform include new generation sequencing (NGS), Sanger sequencing, qRT-PCR and bioinformatics services.
TGML (Marseille-Luminy transcriptonomics and genomics)
The Marseille-Luminy transcriptonomics and genomics (TGML) platform is a national GIS IBiSA platform and a founding member of France Génomique, the national infrastructure for genomic analysis and bioinformatics. Historically focused on transcriptomic analyses, the platform also has extensive epigenomics and bioinformatics expertise. Our platform engineers offer a range of services, from the production and the data analysis of microarrays to the sequencing of various epigenomic materials as well as reproducible bioinformatics analyses. With the acquisition of Chromium Controller de 10X Genomics, the platform also offers single-cell sequencing and genome (or exome) sequencing in long synthetic reads. The platform is available to French and foreign public research teams and to industrial players. All of the platform’s activity is ISO 9001-certified: 2015 and NFX 50-900: 2016. The quality management system concerns: expertise, genomic and bioinformatics research and development in life sciences.
